When Apollo 11 journeyed to the Moon, it carried more than instruments and machinery. Among the objects left behind was a small golden olive branch, a quiet gesture intended as a symbol of peace. Even at the threshold of the unknown, humanity chose to bring with it something meaningful. LUNAUR begins in this spirit.

The first LUNAUR will embark on its journey to the Moon from Kennedy Space Center in December 2026. Lifting off atop a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket, LUNAUR will travel to the lunar surface aboard the Griffin-1 lander and then explore the terrain via Astrolab’s cutting-edge FLIP (FLEX Lunar Innovation Platform) rover.
